President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and loved ones, following the attack on the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSUS) near Ankara, Türkiye.
In a message sent to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President Dr. Muizzu expressed his sorrows upon learning about the attack. The president condemned the attack on behalf of the government of the Maldives and its people, and prayed for the speedy recovery of those who were injured. He concluded his message, reiterating the commitment, to stand in solidarity with Türkiye.
The heinous attacks on the TUSUS building caused the death of four individuals. The building is situated in the Kahramankazan, a small island about 40km north of Ankara, the capital of Türkiye.
