Fulidhoo Island Council on Wednesday decided to lease land for tourism development.
The council said 3 land plots, 4000 sqft each, will be leased from the southern beach area of the island. The plots will be leased through bidding for 50-years, the council said.
Interested parties have till August 11 to submit their bids, with a pre-bid meeting set for July 10.
