President Dr Muizzu Applauds Strengthened Maldives-Estonia Partnership

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu underscored the significance of the current year as a milestone in the longstanding friendship between the Maldives and Estonia in his message on Estonia's Independence Day. He made this statement in letters addressed to Estonian leaders on the occasion.

President Dr Muizzu extended greetings to President Alar Karis, Prime Minister Kristen Michal, and the Estonian government and citizens, conveying his sincerest congratulations on their Independence Day, celebrated on 24 February.

Reflecting on his official visit to Estonia in January, President Dr Muizzu underscored that this year marks a pivotal moment in the diplomatic relations between the two nations. He highlighted the Maldives' steadfast commitment to bolstering collaboration across various sectors, both bilaterally and in multilateral fora.

Additionally, President Dr Muizzu expressed his best wishes for the continued health and wellbeing of President Karis and Prime Minister Michal, and for the sustained progress and prosperity of the Estonian people.

To commemorate the occasion, President Dr Muizzu also shared a post on his official X account, further underlining the day's significance.
