Islamic Ministry prepares for Eid prayer congregation

Streets surrounding the Islamic Centre will be closed off for Eid-ul-Fitr prayer tomorrow, Islamic Affairs Ministry says. 

At a press conference held at the Islamic Ministry today, Sub-inspector of Police Mohamed Zuhan said they would temporarily close Orchid Magu, Fiyaathoshi Goalhi and Fiyaathoshi Magu to facilitate the congregational Eid Prayer at the Islamic Centre tomorrow. He said Medhu-ziyaarai Magu and Ameer-Ahmed Magu will also be partially closed for the Eid prayer.

In addition to the Islamic Centre, the Ministry says Eid prayer congregations will be held at 23 mosques across Malé City.
