President Urges Students to Build on O’Levels in Service to the Nation

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed hope that students sitting for the O’Level examinations will build on the important milestone and go on to proudly serve the nation.

President Dr Muizzu in a post on social media offered his best wishes for the students sitting for the O’Level examination this year.

He also wished the 8,634 students sitting for the exams this year every success in the future.

The President also said he hoped the students will achieve a result that their parents, teachers and the nation can be proud of.

The SSC examination, spanning across 260 centres nationwide, will see students sit the Dhivehi and Islam subject first while the practical component of a few other subjects are ongoing since 2 April.

According to the Ministry, a total of 7,971 students will be taking the exam across the island nation including 7,519 sitting for SSC and 7,666 taking the Cambridge O’Level examination.

The examinations will conclude on 11 June.
