Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has offered his best wishes to all students sitting for the O’Level examinations this year.
In a post on social media, the Vice President described the upcoming exams as a defining chapter in the academic journey of the students.
“...your hard work and determination will surely pave the way for a bright future,”he said.
“May Allah grant you success and ease at every step.”
According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 7,971 students will be taking the exam across the island nation including 7,519 sitting for SSC and 7,666 taking the Cambridge O’Level examination.
The SSC examination, spanning across 260 centres nationwide, will see students sit the Dhivehi and Islam subject first while the practical component of a few other subjects are ongoing since 2 April.
The examinations will conclude on 11 June.
