Asian Academy of Aeronautics, the flight school operated in Addu City, said they are to increase capacity in the facility following a growing demand for placements.
Administration Executive at the flight school Hussein Mamdhooh said that under the efforts, the school has acquired 4 new aircrafts, and that the new Cessna aircrafts would be used in the trainings within a few weeks.

Currently there are 123 students studying at the flight school. The latest batch started their training on July 15, and new batches are scheduled to join in September.
Hussein Mamdhooh said the Academy is working to upgrade the capacity of the facility, following a rise in demand for placements.
Asian Academy of Aeronautics is a Sri Lankan institution run at the Gan International Airport.
