Application open for nursing training

Technical, Vocational Education and Training, (TVET) Authority on Tuesday opened application for students interested in registering for the nurses training programme announced by the Government.

The government-sponsored programme would offer diploma and certificate level four courses for those aspiring to become trained nurses. 

500 nurses are to be trained under the programme which will be conducted by the Tvet Authority together with the Education Ministry.

Internships for those who participate in the programme will be offered from hospitals in Maldives and abroad, the TVET Authority said.

Deadline to submit application for the programme would close on August 7.
