Vice President Vows Action on Fiyoaree Council’s Concerns

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef on Sunday pledged government support to address key concerns raised by the Gaafu Dhaalu Fiyoaree Council.

The Vice President met with members of Fiyoaree Council at the President’s Office. During the meeting, Council members raised several key concerns affecting the island. They highlighted the urgent need for a new futsal field, noting that the existing facility is no longer fit for use. Discussions also focused on the completion of development projects on the uninhabited islands surrounding Fiyoaree.

The Vice President assured the Council that the administration would work to address the issues in coordination with the relevant authorities.
