IUM, InCEIF to run Islamic finance education programmes

Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) on Sunday signed 3 agreements with Malaysia-based International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (InCEIF) to run Islamic finance education programmes.

IUM said it would begin offering diploma and foundation level programmes in Islamic finance in 2017 under the agreements.

The agreements signed Sunday included the formulation of an Islamic Finance Education Curriculum, and designing and conducting Islamic Finance Education Programmes.

The agreements were signed by Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Vice Chancellor of IUM, and Dawood Vickery, President of InCEIF.
