Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham on Thursday visited Kaafu Atoll Madrasa and Gaafaru School as part of a tour of schools in Kaafu Atoll.
During the visits, Dr. Shiham met with school managements and teachers, and inquired about the state of the schools and challenges faced by them.
According to the Education Ministry, during the visit Dr. Shiham also met PTAs and members of local councils.
She also shared information about the Government’s education policy, and efforts to strengthen the education system, the Ministry added.
During the visit, special sessions were held for teachers, students and parents about the Dhasvaaru, BTECH and TVET programmes conducted by the Ministry.
She was also scheduled to visit Guraidhoo School during the tour.
