Public Service Media, PSM on Tuesday signed agreements with groups selected to perform at its Eid Ufa festival to be held in Fonadhoo of Laamu Atoll.
PSM is organizing and managing the event in collaboration with Laamu Atoll Fonadhoo Council.
Those who signed agreements to perform at the festival include a traditional boduberu troupe, actors as well as finalists of the Maldivian Idol show.
Organizers say they are also working to include a special event in association with Bike Maldives. Upto fifty members of Bike Maldives are expected to visit Fonadhoo for the event.
Fonadhoo Council says work on the special pavilion for the Eid festival will begin within the next few days, and is expected to be completed at least one week ahead of Eid, which falls on September 11.
