Final batch of Maldivian Hajj pilgrims leave for Saudi Arabia

The final group of Maldivian Hajj pilgrims on Tuesday left for Saudi Arabia.

200 pilgrims, who have booked their Hajj tours through Sisilfaru Hajj & Umra Group, departed at 9am on Sri Lankan Airlines.

The Saudi Arabian government granted a total Hajj quota of 2,000 to the Maldives this year, of which 1,000 are allotted for Maldives Hajj Corporation (MHC). The first group of hajj pilgrims departed to Saudi Arabia on August 14.
