Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Maldives National University (MNU) Business School on Wednesday signed an agreement to conduct a public procurement and financial regulation course.
The course titled “Certificate 3 in Public Procurement and Financial Regulation” aims to further strengthen the management of State finances and assets.
The agreement was signed by ACC President Hassan Luthfee and Dean of MNU Business School Shathif Ali.
After signing the agreement, Hassan Latheef said that most cases filed with the commission are related to violations of the Public Finance Act, and that such a programme would enhance the knowledge and awareness amongst civil servants regarding procurement and financial management regulations.
