The expo is thoughtfully designed to cater to all segments of society. A special children's programme will feature health check-ups, nutritional guidance, growth monitoring, vaccination information, and engaging entertainment.
Additionally, dedicated sessions will provide essential health information and screenings for foreigners, alongside targeted activities for youth. Attendees can also expect to find valuable resources on mental health and healthy eating habits, supported by stalls offering nutritious food options.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, the Minister of Health, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim issued a rallying cry for nationwide participation in building a robust and healthy society.

The Minister took time to acknowledge and thank private sector entities and civil society organisations for their vital assistance and cooperation, highlighting the importance of partnership in the health sector.
“What we are trying to do is to save people, the society from disease and build a healthy society. That is the main basis of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s health policy. To achieve that we are planning and executing several initiatives,” he explained.
Detailing the administration’s actionable steps, he revealed that the government is not only developing resources but is also enacting necessary legislative changes and empowering executive agencies to effectively implement these health initiatives. Assuring the public of the government’s commitment, Minister Nazim declared that strong measures are already underway and that the positive results of these concerted efforts will be seen across the nation in the near future.
