Ahmed Siddique has been named the new Chairman of the National Drug Agency (NDA), stepping into a pivotal role in the nation’s fight against drug abuse and trafficking.
Siddique brings extensive experience from his previous tenure as Minister of State for Homeland Security and Technology, where he also contributed to the Department of Juvenile Justice. His appointment follows the transfer of former NDA Chairman Lubna Zahir Hussain to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The NDA plays a critical role in combating drug-related crimes, violence, and public health crises by enforcing policies, preventing trafficking, and leading rehabilitation efforts.
