FPA conducts training on domestic violence in Veymandoo

Family Protection Authority conducts a programme to train government staff in Veymandoo of Thaa Atoll to deal with domestic violence issues.

The 5-day programme is aimed at creating awareness among government institutions in the island.

In the programme, information is provided on ways to recognize forms of Domestic Violence and identifying the immediate concerns, signs, causes, patterns, safety precautions and how to help victims.
