The Ministry of Education on Thursday concluded a leadership skills workshop for teachers of schools in central atolls.
The two-day workshop, titled “Workshop on Personal Effectiveness as School Leaders” was organised by the Ministry in collaboration with Malaysia’s Unitar International University.
33 participants, including deputy principals and leading teachers from schools in Alif Alif, Alif Dhaalu, Lhaviyani, Vaavu and Kaafu Atoll attended the workshop.
This Ministry has been holding similar workshops for principals and management staff as part of its efforts to improve the management of schools across the country.
Under the efforts, 115 principals from the Maldives had visited Malaysia’s Open University, Unitar International University, and schools to learn about school leadership and management styles.
