In connection with the Maldives Expo 2026, the Business Center Corporation (BCC) has launched a video making competition.
This competition has been opened in conjunction with the internationally observed World Creativity and Innovation Day, which falls on 21 April. The aim of the competition is to provide an opportunity to showcase the creativity and innovative ideas of Maldivians.
According to BCC, participants must upload their videos to social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms. For the short film category, videos of 3 to 5 minutes in length can be submitted. After uploading, participants must email the video link to [email protected]
BCC also stated that all content must be uploaded on the participant’s own social media accounts. When sharing the videos, participants must tag BCC (@BCC), Maldives Expo (@EXPOMV), and the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade (@MOEDT), and include the hashtag #mauraz26.
