'Home Team Advanced Leadership Program - 2' concludes 

The Home Team Advanced Leadership Programme two, organised by the Ministry of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology in collaboration with the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement has concluded.

The closing ceremony was held at the Iskandhar Building, with the Minister of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology, Ali Ihusaan serving as the Chief Guest. The Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mohamed Ameen, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Farhad Fikry and other senior officials of Home Team law enforcement agencies were also in attendance.

This programme was designed to boost strategic, operational and ethical leadership capabilities for senior officials in institutions under the Ministry of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology.

The 24 participants included staff from the Maldives Police Service, Maldives Correctional Service, Maldives Customs Service, Maldives Immigration and the National Drug Agency.

During this programme, scenario-based exercises and relevant assignments were carried out, with a focus on strategic leadership, governance, crisis management, cybersecurity and inter-agency collaboration.

Sessions were also organised on regional and international cooperation, strengthening administrative management, and collaborative practice. A digital forum was also held by the National Digital Service as part of this programme.

Furthermore, this programme aims to develop leadership skills, enhance ethical decision-making and response to crises, and bring about digital transformation. It also works to raise awareness about changing environments and work together with stakeholders and talent development to create high-quality teams.

This programme was carried out from 26th April to 15th May at the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement in Addu City.
