Minister of Defence and National Service Hassan Rasheed has held talks on bilateral relations and defence cooperation during his official visit to Saudi Arabia.
During a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Defence Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored opportunities to strengthen defence cooperation.
They also discussed regional and international developments, as well as ongoing efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
Minister Hassan Rasheed also met Abdullah bin Hamid Al-Quraishi, Deputy Military Commander of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC).
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in counter-terrorism, expanding joint military exercises and enhancing technical capabilities between the two sides.
