Chief Superintendent of Police at Maldives Police Service, Fathmath Nashwa has completed the Executive Leaders Programme conducted by the United Kingdom’s College of Policing.
The programme is designed to prepare officers for senior leadership roles in the police force. The 19-week leadership programme which began on February 26, concluded with its third and final in the UK from 29 June to 10 July.
According to Maldives Police Service, the programme builds on participants’ work experience to develop the skills, abilities and knowledge required for senior police leadership positions. A total of 62 officers from different countries graduated from this year's programme.
The programme reviewed institute management systems and identified future opportunities. It also strengthened participants' leadership skills by focusing on effective partnership working, evaluating organisational processes, identifying opportunities for future improvement, and enhancing collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
