The Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade has officially opened applications for Maldivian businesses to participate in the prestigious fourth edition of the India-Asia Business Conclave 2026 and the Eco-Sustainable Expo.
The event, organised by the Global India Business Forum, is scheduled to be held from 31 July to 1 August in Hyderabad, India.
Recognised as a premier platform for regional commerce, the conclave serves as a comprehensive hub for international business exchange. The exhibition is expected to host more than 500 Indian enterprises, alongside international delegations, policymakers, government partners, and industry leaders from over 20 countries across Asia.
The Ministry highlighted that attendees will have access to a wide array of high-level activities, including business networking sessions, trade and investment discussions, and sector-based panel debates. The forum provides a unique opportunity for Maldivian entrepreneurs to engage directly with Indian manufacturers, exporters, technology providers, and investors to explore potential joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
Additionally, the expo will allow Maldivian businesses to showcase their local products and services to an international audience. According to the Ministry, the event focuses on several key growth sectors, including tourism, hospitality, infrastructure, renewable energy, food processing, healthcare, and education. Additional opportunities for collaboration will be available in technology, manufacturing, logistics, and sustainable development.
