Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded the contract to build the new Male’ Court Complex in Hulhumale’.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, with State Minister Yoosuf Abdul Ghafoor signing on behalf of the government and MTCC’s Managing Director Ahmed Saudi representing the company. The project was awarded for USD 45.3 million, with a completion period of 720 days.
According to MTCC, the project includes a 14-storey court complex that will house the Civil Court, Criminal Court, Drug Court, Juvenile Court, Family Court, High Court and the Department of Judicial Administration. Once completed, the court complex with improve public access to judicial services by bringing key courts together under one roof.
MTCC has completed numerous infrastructure and structural development projects across the Maldives.
