President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the website of Falah Preschool.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu also attended as the chief guest a ceremony held to mark the 50th anniversary of Falah Preschool. A commemorative plaque was unveiled for the President during the ceremony.
The ceremony also included the presentation of commemorative plaques to individuals who have served Falah Preschool for more than 10 years. Certificates were also presented to those who designed the school’s logo.
Speaking at the ceremony, Falah Preschool Chief Executive Al-Qari Al-Hafiz Abdul Sattar Aboobakuru thanked and recognised the individuals and organisations that have contributed to the school’s development over the years.
Falah Preschool operates under Jamiyyathul Falah, an independent association. The association was officially registered with the government in 1961, and was founded by the late Aboobakuru Ibrahim.
As Jamiyyathul Falah expanded its activities to promote religious awareness among Maldivians, it established a school under the name Madhrasathul Falah on 20 January 1976. The school later began providing preschool education specifically for young children. Its name was changed to Falah Preschool on 23 December 2001.
The school, which began with a small number of students, now offers nursery and baby nursery classes. It currently provides education in two shifts.
Falah Preschool provides education using modern resources and trains its teachers to adapt to changing educational needs. Since 2015, the school has been following the national curriculum.
