President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom returned to Malé Tuesday afternoon upon conclusion of his official visit to Meemu Atoll and Faafu Atoll.
During his visit, the President inaugurated clean drinking water services in Dhiggaru and Mulah and attended the function held to mark the completion of Naalaafushi’s beach protection project. The President also visited Muli Island last evening. He also inaugurated the harbour and a new mosque in Magoodhoo Island in North Nilandhe Atoll.
The President was accompanied on the visit by Thoriq Ibrahim, Minister of Environment and Energy, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, and, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, Vice President of PPM and Parliament Member for Fonadhoo Constituency.
