President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has said that the difference between this administration and those of the past was the immediate action taken to achieve the people’s aspirations.
He made the remark at a function held Monday to mark the completion of the beach protection project of Nalaafushi Island.
The President said his administration is working relentlessly to fulfill the needs and aspirations of the people and resolve all the problems they face, adding that the government does not just make promises to win over the people without actually putting in the effort. The government aims to build an able, eager and ambitious generation, and provide a peaceful and harmonious environment for the people, he said.
