Kosovo Ambassador presents credentials to President Yameen

The First non-resident Ambassador of Kosovo, Rexhep Boja has presented his credentials to President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

At the ceremony held this morning at the President's Office, the President welcomed the Non-resident Ambassador to the Maldives and congratulated Ambassador Boja on the commencement of his term. During the call, President Yameen conveyed good wishes to the President of Kosovo, and expressed hope that relations between Maldives and Kosovo will be enhanced during Ambassador Boja's tenure.

The Ambassador also conveyed greetings and good wishes from the President of Kosovo, and expressed gratitude for receiving him as the first Non-resident Ambassador of Kosovo. Ambassador Boja also placed importance in fostering friendly relations, and discussed on exploring avenues of cooperation between the two countries.

The President was accompanied at the call by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim and the Minister of State for Foreign Relations, Mohamed Naseer.

Ambassador Boja also held a meeting with Foreign Minister Asim and discussed on strengthening bilateral ties on tourism, trade and education.
