BML launches self-service banking in Milandhoo

Bank of Maldives (BML) expands its nationwide presence, with the establishment of a new Self Service Banking ATM in Milandhoo of Shaviyani atoll.

The new ATM is part of its MVR 300 million investment program to expand banking services and financial inclusion across the country, according to the bank. In addition to the usual cash withdrawal facilities, the new ATM will support local individuals and businesses to deposit and transfer money on a 24/7 basis.

It was officially inaugurated by Director of BML Islamic, Zulkarnain Bin Taman, at a ceremony held on the island today. Speaking at the event, Zulkarnain said they were delighted to be able to support the local community here in Milandhoo with this new state-of-the-art Self-Service Banking ATM.

With a nationwide network of 34 branches across all 20 atolls, 86 ATMs, 4,000 Point of Sale merchants, 200 cash agents, 28 Self Service Banking Centres and 5 Dhoani Banking Units, as well as a full suite of Digital and Online Banking Services, Bank of Maldives is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
