The Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Maldives, Chang Won Sam, called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim, during his one-day official visit to the Maldives.
At the meeting held in Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning, Minister Asim and Ambassador Chang’s discussion were mainly focused on the close bilateral relation that exist between the two countries. Further, both dignitaries exchanged views to enhance and explore avenues for cooperation on mutual interest.
The Ambassador assured to work with the Government of Maldives further consolidating the relation and to cooperate for the development of the Maldives.
Foreign Minister Asim was accompanied by Ibrahim Shaheeb, Additional Secretary and Ahmed Suzil, Assistant Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
