The Women Entrepreneurs Association of Maldives (WEAM) has conferred a special award to the First Lady of Maldives.
The association held a special ceremony at Hotel Jen named Sultana Award Night for present the awards. WEAM conferred the Sultana Honorary Award to First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim for her work for the advancement of the community. The most prestigious award by WEAM, Sultana Recognition Award was presented to Aishath Shifa Naseer.
WEAM aimed to develop inspiring and innovative business women in the Maldives by providing support and assistance for both existing and potential entrepreneurs in the Maldives has awarded the new awards they introduced. WEAM introduced different awards to recognize the works of the distinguished women in different sectors in Maldives.
