US Ambassador meets Maldivian Foreign Minister - Photo: MNDF
The Ambassador of the United States of America to the Maldives Atul Keshap has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Defence and National Security Adam Shareef Umar.
In the meeting, the countries discussed means through which existing ties in defense and security can be strengthened. Further discussions were also held on measures that could be taken jointly to address the issue of terrorism and radicalization.
Minister of State for Defence and National Security Mohamed Zuhair also attended the meeting.
