President Yameen attends banquet hosted by Sports Associations

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim attended a banquet hosted by Sports Association of Maldives. 

This banquet which was organized to honor the President Yameen and the First Lady was held at Rasfannu Beach. Minister of Youth and Sports Iruthisham Adam attended the banquet along with personnel from the Sports Associations in addition to several sportspersons.

President of the Maldives Olympic Committee Mohamed Shaweed highlighted and thanked president and first lady for the close bond they share with sports fraternity. He noted that as a result of this close bond, the current associations share the best camaraderie in the history.
