Ministry of Economic Development has commenced the second Thailand Maldives Business Matching Forum.
A total of 33 companies which run under the umbrella of Department of International Trade Promotion participates in the Thailand Maldives Business Forum which started at the National Art Gallery.
In this forum, business corporations well known in manufacturing furniture, export companies, spa managing companies and garment manufactures. Addressing the press, the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Economic Development Adam Thaufeeq highlighted that this meeting is crucial for the advancement of Maldivian businesses. The Deputy Minister revealed that with this meeting opportunity for new Maldivian business ventures to pave routes for importing goods from Thailand would be provided. He also highlighted that this forum aims to familiarize the Maldivian Businesses to the businesses in Thailand.
In the press conference, General Consulate of Royal Thai Jitma Nakamano highlighted that Thailand companies being the top choice of Maldivians in the beauty and food products consider Maldives as a top client for these products. She added that with this forum Maldivian companies would get chance to experience the products from Thailand in a deeper perspective.
Economic Ministry has opened opportunity for all Maldivian business ventures to take part in this event.
