Maldivian resort, Jumeirah Vittaveli won four awards at the World Luxury Resorts and Islands Awards 2017. Jumeirah Vittaveli won these four awards for two of their restaurants and a spa.
The Finis Restaurant won the award for the best French cuisine continent and for the best romantic atmosphere in Indian Ocean. Meanwhile, the Swaran restaurant won the award for best Indian cuisine continent. Vittaveli's Thalisi Spa won the award for the best luxury wellness spa.
The World Luxury Resorts and Islands Awards are presented annually to the restaurants and spas to encourage and appreciate their works in this field. General Manager of Jumeirah Vittaveli Amit Majumder revealed that these awards are the fruitful outcome of the hard work of the staffs of the resort. He further expressed that the management of the restaurant is proud of the achievements of their staffs in the international arena.
