The U.S. Embassy has held a photography and videography training programme at Thulusdhoo Youth Centre.
A total of 30 youth participated the training programme held in partnership with the National Library of Maldives, Thulusdhoo Island Council, and Kaafu Atoll Education Centre. The training programme was held as part of the ongoing U.S. MV iBoat programme, which provides technical training to youth throughout the atolls, according to the U.S. Embassy.
The U.S. MV iBoat is one of several skills-based programs offered through the American Centre Male'. The U.S. Embassy and government of Maldives established the centre in 2004 to provide youth with employment and leadership skills, English language learning, and information about studying in the United States.
