Maldivian Ambassador presents Credentials to Sri Lankan President

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Maldives to Sri Lanka Mohamed Hussain Shareef has presented his Letter of Credence to President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena, at a ceremony held at the President's Office in Colombo.

At the ceremony, both the President and the Ambassador exchanged talks regarding various ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Maldives and Sri Lanka.

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom elected Mohamed Hussain Shareef as the Ambassador of Maldives to Sri Lanka in September of this year. Previously, Ambassador Mohamed Hussain Shareef served as the Ambassador of Maldives to Japan.
