Maldivian Delgation departs for Maldives India Consular Talks

A delegation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Maldives has departed to India for the first round of Consular Talks between the two countries.

At the Talks, consular matters of mutual interest will be discussed. These include, issues faced by Maldivian nationals travelling and residing in India and also the issues faced by Indian nationals residing and working in the Maldives.

The Foreign Ministry delegation is led by Secretary Bilateral Ahmed Khaleel and accompanied by Ambassador of Maldives to India Ahmed Mohamed, Minister at the Embassy of Maldives in India Shazra Abdul Sattar, Joint Secretary Aishath Azeema and Senior Desk Officer Fathimath Zidhna Ali.

The first round of Consular Talks will be held in New Delhi on October 24.
