Officials from the Elections Commission of Maldives has taken part in observing the Georgian Municipal Elections.
The observation programme organised by Central Elections Commission of Georgia (CEE) from October 19 to 21 October in Tbilisi was attended by Member of the Commission Mohamed Shakeel and Director of the Commission Hassan Zakariyya. The officials observed the voting and tallying procedure of the voting process, under the programme. The observers learned about the voting process of Georgia and learned ways to develop the voting procedure in the Maldives, according to the Commission.
In addition to Maldivian observers, election management bodies, international authorities and 30 observers from 14 countries took part in observing the Georgian Municipal Elections.
