President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived back in Male’ city, on conclusion of official visit to islands of Maduvvari, Fainu and Meedhoo in Raa Atoll.
During the visit, the President inaugurated the sewerage system in Maduvvari and attended the function held to mark the completion of the island’s beach protection project. The President also inaugurated the harbour in Fainu and officially opened the newly-built mosque, Masjidul Awwaabeen and inaugurated water and sewerage services in Meedhoo.
The President was accompanied during the visit by cabinet ministers, Parliamentarians and senior government officials.
