The Embassy of Japan in Maldives has started to issue visas for Maldivians travelling to Japan.
The submission of visa applications and collection of passports would be from Sunday to Thursday between 1000hrs to 1200hrs and 1400hrs to 1600hrs. Application procedures and required forms would be available in the official website www.mv.emb-japan.go.jp of the Embassy of Japan in Maldives.
Maldives established diplomatic ties with Japan in 1967.
