Addressing the ceremony held to celebrate four successful years of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom's administration, Vice President of Progressive Party of Maldives PPM and Member of Parliament for Fonadhoo constituency Abdul Raheem Abdulla stated that all the previous administrations deducted from and restricted wages of civil servants, but that the current administration has broken free from this convention and has proved that the administration truly values services of civil servants.
In this regard, MP Abdul Raheem applauded President Yameen for prioritizing developmental projects, targeting civil servants. In his speech, MP Abdul Raheem harshly criticized the previous administrations. He stated that previous administrations failed to secure foreign investment due to their weak policies. The MP concluded his speech by stating that the services of the current administration would be beneficial to the generations to come.
He expressed confidence that President Yameen's name would be engraved in golden letters in Maldivian history.
