21 parties have received the Maldives Boating Award. This year, awards were presented in 25 categories across various sector and standards.
The most prestigious award of the year; Boating Personality of the year was conferred to Ahmed Zubair Adam in recognition for his exemplary work to enhance the boating sector of the country.
The Liveaboard/Yatch Brand of the year was presented to Voyages Maldives Private Limited while the Best Build Liveaboard/Yatch was conferred to Blue Horizon. In addition, the Best Surf Safari was awarded to Manta Cruise Safari and the Best Dive Safari was Horizon 3.
Winners were selected based on 60% voting from the Judging Panel and 40% from online votes. The awards aim to encourage and raise service standards within the Maldivian boating industry.
Furthermore, a Maldives Boating Awards book was also launched in the ceremony.
This year marks the third edition of Maldives Boating Awrads. Maldives Boating Awards is an initiative of Liveabord Association of Maldives (LAM) to recognise the strength of the boating industry and the services rendered by the service providers.
