A Maldivian delegation attends the 54th Session of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Programming Committee.
The meeting commenced in Kathmandu, Nepal on December 12. The Maldives delegation is led by Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aishath Azeema.

Discussions of the two-day working level meeting will focus mainly about budget issues of the Secretariat, SAARC five regional centres and four specialised bodies, according to the Foreign Ministry, Delegations from all eight member States are attending the meeting, along with Heads of Specialised Bodies and Regional Centres.
