Teachingtube to introduce 4 new subjects next year

First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim launched the first ever online education platform of Maldives, teachingtube.com earlier this year. The platform which is helmed by Islanders Education and national telecommunication service provider, Dhiraagu, provides knowledge and information for students attaining education in the secondary and higher secondary level in Maldives.

Through the online portal, students are given curriculum based knowledge by experienced teachers from around the globe. Managing Director of Teachingtube, Adam Rasheed stated that a huge expense on education has been reduced due to the introduction of the online portal and stated that Teachingtube has received much acclaim from students worldwide.

The website, which was in development for over 5 years, contains over 100 GB of learning content and access to leading teachers, authors and industry experts as subject tutors. Adam Rasheed stated that the portal will introduce 4 new subjects to the curriculum for 2018. In this regard, Business studies, Economics, Accounting and Travel and Tourism would be added to the curriculum next year.

To develop lessons across all subjects, Teachingtube also collaborates with Pro Designers Private Limited, which is one of the leading web and mobile application development, video animation, 3D modeling and technology Company in the Maldives. The website also includes Artificial Intelligence generated report for students for assessments.

The AI-generated reports for the website was developed by India's Report Bee company, which was listed by BETT UK as one of the Top 3 Innovative Ed-Tech firm in Asia.
