Ministry of Environment and Energy has signed an agreement with Utilico Private Limited for the Assessment and Design of Cost Effective, Energy Efficiency Improvements for Selected Buildings.
At a special ceremony held at the Environment Ministry, the agreement was signed by Minister of State for Environment and Energy Abdulla Majeed and Managing Director of Utilico Private Limited Ali Ahsan. Environment Ministry revealed that the core objective of the agreement is to strengthen the procedure implemented in providing and usage of energy resources in construction of buildings.
Under Low Carbon Energy Island Strategy, the assessment should be completed by Utilico Private Limited in a period of 5 months, according to the agreement.
