The ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has extended greetings and felicitations on the occasion of the academic new year. In a statement, PPM extended felicitations and good wishes on behalf President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and members of PPM to students and everyone contributing to the education sector of the country.
The statement highlighted that 2017 was a year of success and thanked students, parents and teachers alike for the contribution in building a better country. Furthermore, PPM expressed hope that the current academic year will be a more successful year for Maldives, noting the developments brought under the initiative of President Yameen.
