Tree top hospital to be inaugurated within months

CEO of Tree Top Hospital Grant Muddle has revealed that the state-of-the-art healthcare facility would be inaugurated within two to three months. In an exclusive interview with PSM News, CEO of Tree Top Hospital Grant Muddle stated that the company has commenced the last stage of the installation of the machinery at the hospital, with the aim of inaugurating the state of the art healthcare facility within two to three months. The CEO of the hospital said the management is conducting training programmes for new recruits by internationally famous trainers and conducting extensive drills to provide experience of real life scenarios. The 6-storey Tree Top Hospital building is developed along with an 8-storey support building which would have a staff accommodation block. Both buildings have now been developed, with work underway to procure and install machinery and equipment. Briefing on the services provided from the hospital, CEO Grant Muddle said the hospital would provide Aasandha Health Insurance Service, along with other insurance schemes. The 156-bed hospital is being developed with the aim of providing the best healthcare services to decrease the number of Maldivians travelling abroad for medical treatment. Turkey-based Alke-Turmacs was contracted to design and build the tertiary level Tree Top Hospital in Hulhumale' with Ramsay Sim Darby of Malaysia contracted to manage the hospital.
