Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham has stated the administration has embarked to the academic new year with a vision to make 2018 the most successful year with the implementation of technological advancements.
The newly launched service is expected to revolutionise the education sector and would act as a bridge networking all the schools in Maldives, Education Minister Aishath Shiham said after inaugurating the virtual teaching service in 9 schools of Maldives. The new service is introduced in 9 schools as part of the first phase of the effort, as per information provided by the Education Ministry.
The schools were selected based on the number of students enrolled, Minister of State of Education Ahmed Shafeeu revealed while briefing the meeting. The State Minister revealed that the schools in the islands would be virtually connected to Iskandhar School in the capital city of Maldives.
