Ministry of Environment and Energy has revealed plans of organising the 2nd National Students Environment Symposium from April 7 to 8. Opportunity to submit applications for the Environment Symposium is open for all educational institutions in Maldives, as per information provided by Environment Ministry,
The symposium will be held to enhance and expand the knowledge of students on ways to tackle the environmental issues faced in the country, according to the Ministry. In addition, the symposium also aims to strengthen the role of environment clubs of educational institutes by providing a platform to showcase and carryout activities organised by such groups. Environment Ministry revealed that currently efforts to hire an event organiser is commencing at a fast pace before February 5.
First National Students Environment Symposium held in 2016 saw the participation of over 200 students from educational institutions from both capital city and the atolls.
